Purchasing & Downloads

How quickly will I receive my beat after purchasing?

Immediately.

Once your purchase is successfully completed, you’ll receive an email containing your beat files and the information associated with your purchase.

Make sure you enter the correct email address during checkout.

What happens if I don’t receive my beat?

First, check your spam or junk folder to make sure the delivery email wasn’t filtered.

If you still can’t find it, contact NJMP Beats with the name and email address used for your purchase, and we’ll help you get everything sorted out.

What file types will I receive?

The files you receive depend on the license you purchase.

Before purchasing, review the details of each license so you know exactly what’s included and can choose the option that works best for your project.

Beat Licensing

What does it mean to license a beat?

When you purchase a beat from NJMP Beats, you’re purchasing a license to use the music under the terms of the license you selected.

The license explains what you can do with the beat and any limitations associated with its use.

Which license should I choose?

That depends on what you’re planning to do with the song.

If you’re recording for a smaller independent release, one of our entry-level licenses may be enough. If you’re planning a larger commercial release, music video, significant promotion, or need additional flexibility, a higher-level license may be a better fit.

Always review the licensing options before purchasing.

Still unsure? Contact us before you buy. We’d rather help you choose the right license than have you purchase something you don’t need.

Do I own the beat after purchasing a license?

Purchasing a non-exclusive license gives you permission to use the beat according to the terms of that license. It does not transfer ownership of the original instrumental to you.

Please review the license agreement associated with your purchase for complete details.

Can other artists use the same beat?

If you purchase a non-exclusive license, yes.

A non-exclusive beat may be licensed to more than one artist.

Can I release my song on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, and other platforms?

Commercial releases are allowed according to the terms and limitations of the license you purchase.

Before distributing your song, make sure your license covers the way you plan to release and promote your music.

Can I perform my song live?

Your ability to use the beat for live performances depends on the terms of your purchased license.

Review your license agreement for the specific usage rights included with your purchase.

Exclusive Beats

Do you offer exclusive rights?

Availability of exclusive rights may vary from beat to beat.

If you’re interested in purchasing exclusive rights to a particular beat, contact NJMP Beats to discuss availability and pricing.

What happens if someone licensed the beat before I purchased exclusive rights?

Previous licenses generally remain valid according to the agreements that were already issued.

Purchasing exclusive rights does not normally cancel licenses that were legally purchased before the exclusive sale.

Contact us if you’d like clarification before purchasing an exclusive.
